In this movie, the principle actors drive around in this Delorean DMC-12, modified to become a time machine. It travels back to 1955, but goes back to 1885 in a second sequel! Apparently several vehicles were used through the three movies as they were bought cheap when they weren't deemed as such collectable objects.
